Parish Fellowship

Oatmeal Bar

Sundays 8:00 - 10:00 AM

Every Sunday morning between the services we gather around our Oatmeal Bar for fellowship and a healthy breakfast treat. This is our opportunity to get to know each other better, share what’s going on in our lives, and encourage each other.Oatmeal Bar

BenOur Oatmeal Bar is a special treat. We bring out all the toppings – brown sugar, sugarsubstitute, dried berries, chocolatechips, walnuts, coconut, bananas, fresh fruit, and so much more! We encourage you to get creative with your oatmeal by challenging you to try our “Flavor of the Week” like ambrosia, blueberry muffin, peach cobbler or almond joy.

Open Grill and Campfire NightSmoors

Every Friday Night at 6:00 pm
May - September

You’ve heard of “Open Mic Night” at different venues where a stage is provided for all who want to sing? At Redeemer we have “Open Grill Night.”
We provide the grill, you provide whatever you want to eat! The entire community is invited to come grill with us. How does it work? –Simple – just bring whatever you want to eat and drink. We will cook it up for you or you can grill it yourself. After dinner we sit around the campfire and make s’mores. If you have a favorite lawn chair you might want to bring it.
If you want to make a special contribution, bring a side dish to share, a bag of charcoal or some pop or chips. It’s all about sitting around, eating, and making friends. It’s a “church picnic” every week, rain or shine! For more information click here.

Prayer Breakfast

Men’s Prayer Breakfast

On the first Saturday of the month a group of men from Redeemer gather at Three Brothers Restaurant in Woodstock for food, fellowship, and prayer. It’s a great way to get to know a great group of guys who will welcome you warmly and encourage you in the faith. Pastor Tom regularly attends the Men’s Breakfast, so it’s a great time to get to know him in an informal setting.

RINGSRINGS High School Youth Group

RINGS stands for “Redeemer Intertwined with Nativity, Grace and St. John’s”; it is the combined high school youth group for Nativity Lutheran Church in Wonder Lake, Grace Lutheran Church in Richmond, St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hebron, First Presbyterian Church in Woodstock, and our own Redeemer Lutheran Church.

The goal of this group is to have fun, to serve, and to deepen their relationship with God. They have Bible studies, go paintballing, scale climbing walls, do service projects, have swimming parties, and have many great adventures together.

Every year during the summer they go on a mission trip or travel to a youth conference. A fabulous dinner theater presentation is one of many fun and creative fundraisers that they hold to raise funds for these trips.

RINGS meets at least twice a month on Sunday evenings. All high school youth are invited to join!
