Children's Sunday School

Sundays 9:10-9:50 amCreative kids

Our Creative Children's Sunday School meets between the services at 9:10 am from September to May. At Redeemer children are warmly welcomed and your child will receive the kind of one-on-one, interactive instruction that will help them grow in love and put their faith into action.

We are currently using a “one room schoolhouse” curriculum in the Spark series. Spark is a Sunday school faith formation program designed to activate faith in children ages 2 through grade 6. Bible-centered, it encourages kids to open the Scriptures and explore God’s Word through a variety of age-appropriate activities designed to accommodate all of the different ways children learn. For more information on the Spark series go to

Children’s Sermon

Children of all ages learn about important Christian concepts during the children’s sermon each week, and always enjoy hearing what the children have to say!

Confirmation 2014

Confirmation is an important rite in the Lutheran church. Youth in grades 6-8 are confirmed after completing a series of classes about the church, the Bible, and and the Christian faith.

The confirmation ceremony traditionally takes place on Reformation Sunday. During the ceremony they profess their faith and and are received as full members of the church.

RINGS High School Youth Group

RINGSRINGS stands for “Redeemer Intertwined with Nativity, Grace and St. John’s”; it is the combined high school youth group for Nativity Lutheran Church in Wonder Lake, Grace Lutheran Church in Richmond, St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hebron, First Presbyterian Church in Woodstock, and our own Redeemer Lutheran Church.

The goal of this group is to have fun, to serve, and to deepen their relationship with God. They have Bible studies, go paint balling, scale climbing walls, do service projects, have swimming parties, and have many great adventures together.

Every year during the summer they go on a mission trip or travel to a youth conference. A fabulous dinner theater presentation is one of many fun and creative fundraiser's that they hold to raise funds for these trips.
RINGS meets at least twice a month on Sunday evenings. All high school youth are invited to join!
