Woodstock Christmas Clearing House

Make a difference in the lives of those in need this Christmas season by supporting Christmas Clearing House during November and December.  You can help by donating food, new toys, and cash.  You can also volunteer to collect money on Tag Day (November 25), work in the warehouse, or deliver the items to people’s homes in December.  To find out how you can help see John Hudson.

Christmas Clearing House was started in 1970 by Woodstock Girl Scout troops. In 1972 the Rotary Club of Woodstock took over the project and has coordinated it ever since, with the help of many other service clubs and community volunteers. Volunteers raise money to provide food, children’s presents, gloves and mittens to families in need. Last year over 1,000 families were served.  The Noon Rotary Club of Woodstock pays for the monthly Illinois Food Bank trucks that distribute food at Redeemer.
